DAYCARE

Q. What are your daycare hours?
A. Generally our hours are between 7:30am and 6pm, however we are very flexible with times and are happy to accommodate to your needs if you require daycare outside of these times.

Q. What will my dog do whilst at your place?
A. In the mornings the first couple hours are spent playing and running around. Once all the dogs for the day have arrived we will take the dogs out for a walk and/or trip to the dog park/oval (weather permitting). Then they will usually all settle for a nap until lunch time. In the afternoon, the dogs will have another play session before all settling down for pick-up time. During play times we include some fetch and tug-of-war games as well as letting the dogs play together. Dogs are always under supervision and kept company.

Q. What do I need to bring?
A. We do not require you to bring anything other than your dog’s collar/harness and lead. However you are more than welcome to bring your dog some food/treats, toys and a blanket – whatever you think will help your dog feel more happy and at home.

HOUSE VISITS

Q. How long are your visits?
A. Visits range between 10-20 minutes, depending on what you and your pet require.

Q. What is included in each visit?
A. We will do whatever is needed for your pet while you are away, including feeding, providing fresh water, cleaning litter, cleaning enclosures, play time, cuddles and medication if needed (not including needles). Dog walking can also be added

OVERNIGHT STAY

Q. Where does my dog sleep at night?
A. Dogs are always kept inside overnight. We try to replicate how your dog is used to sleeping overnight. If they have a bed and/or crate they usually sleep in, we ask that you please bring that for them. Dogs can sleep on the bed with humans if that’s what they’re used to as long as they’re happy to share the space and are reliably toilet trained.

Q. What do I need to bring?
A. Your dog’s food, harness/collar and lead, and crate or bed if they have one. You can also bring their bowl, toys and/or a blanket and whatever you think will help make your dog feel comfortable and happy.

Q. Will my dog be left alone at all?
A. Your dog will always be kept company - we want them to feel like part of the family. If we have to go out, we will bring them in the car with us and make sure they are always supervised.

DOG WALKING

Q. Where will you walk my dog?
A. We will walk your dog around your suburb if we are travelling to your place to walk them. When walking them at our place for overnight stay and daycare bookings, we will walk them around the Yerrabi Pond area, or in nearby streets.

Q. Do you walk my dog/s on their own or with others?
This is up to you and what you think your dog would prefer. If your dog is comfortable with other dogs, then we love bringing some others along for some socialisation.

PUPPY PACK

Q. What age does my puppy need to be?
A. Puppies must be under the age of 16 weeks when starting the program. This ensures that we begin working on socialisation and training whilst they are still young and in the critical socialisation period, where early experiences can make a huge impact on their behaviour as they age.

Q. What benefit does this puppy pack have on my dog?
A. This program will help set your dog up for life by getting them comfortable with other dogs of various sizes and giving them basic training working on commands such as sit, down, spin, shake, hi-5, heel, stay and come (what we get through does depend on the individual dog). We will also be giving them a bath, brush and blow dry once a week as well as giving them an introduction to grooming each week (nail trim, scissoring, clippers) (note, it will not include a full groom, just tidy ups along the way). This will allow your dog to get used to the process of what will be a lifelong, regular thing.

PHOTOSHOOTS

Q. How long do the photoshoot sessions take?
A. This will depend on your pet but will usually take around 1-2 hours to use a variety of backdrops.

Q. How long will it take for me to receive my photos?
A. We will aim to have your photos ready for a viewing session two days after your photoshoot, and to have your prints and downloads ready within a week of your session.

Q. What do I need to bring?
A. The only thing we require is your pet and some of their treats. You are also welcome to bring any accessories you may like your pet to use for their photos.

Q. Do I need to stay with my dog?
A. It is optional for a dog, but we would need you to stay for a cat, rabbit, or another animal. You are also welcome to have some photos with your pet. Alternatively you can book your dog in for the day and receive 50% off the day care rate.
